Leila’s Café says it has the most authentic Middle Eastern cuisine in all of Center City Philadelphia. That very well might be true, especially considering the fact that the owner, a guy named “Smiley,” hails from Lebanon and has spend the past 30 years consulting on restaurants across the United States.

Now, Leila’s Café offers some great Middle Eastern food as well as hookah rentals. Grab a hookah for the table and fill it with one of the ten tobacco flavors offered. While you relax, smoke, and converse with your friends, order some falafel, gyros, kabobs, or shawarma to munch on.

There’s also a variety of milk and juice-based smoothies that make great hookah accompaniments.
